The EU project DCYDE! champions Digital Global Citizenship Education (D-GCE) and sustainable development by fostering worldwide, transnational partnerships and hybrid learning. Our mission is to empower educators and young people across Europe and the Global South through innovative tools, youth-led initiatives, and collaborative learning.
To achieve these goals, we are establishing a pool of experts and trainers to conduct dialogical and digitally supported GCE multiplier seminars, as well as to develop hybrid and digital GCE methodologies, resources, and concepts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Educational Concept and Methodology Developers for dialogical and hybrid GCE (4 positions)
- Responsibilities:
- Research and develop an educational framework for hybrid GCE, in collaboration with DCYDE’s GCE working group. The experts will work to further develop and refine the framework, following draft structures agreed upon by the project partners, incorporating digital and hybrid elements into GCE methodologies.
- Collect, develop, and create GCE-related content, a collection of digital tools, hybrid tools, and methodologies for GCE related trainings and digitally supported and dialogical GCE activities.
- Research and develop a collection of digital tools and methodologies for trainings, digitally supported and dialogical GCE initiatives.
- Objective: Build a resource pool to support educators in effectively implementing hybrid and dialogical GCE approaches and strategies in diverse educational settings and create comprehensive tools for dialogical, digitally supported GCE activities.
- Timeline: 10 working days per position (80 hours, flexible scheduling) from late January to the end of March 2025.
- Responsibilities:
- GCE Trainer (2 positions)
- Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement in consultation with the DCYDE! GCE working group a hybrid Train-the-Trainers (TTT) cycle focused on dialogical GCE. Target groups are educators, trainers, and multipliers from EU project partner countries, as well as partners from the Global South.
- Teach hybrid GCE moderation skills to both aspiring and experienced multipliers and trainers of global learning and GCE.
- Facilitate both online (7 one-day sessions) and one in-person session with a hybrid approach, through the Collaboratorum platform1
- Objective: Equip multipliers and trainers with practical skills and methodologies for hybrid and digitally supported GCE activities at international level.
- Timeline: February to the end of June 2025, 8 sessions in total. The in-person session will be held in Vienna, Austria, on either May 20th or May 21st, 2025.
- Responsibilities:
- Expert and trainer for Gender Equality and Discrimination Sensitivity (1 position)
- Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and deliver two one-day training sessions as part of the hybrid Train-the-Trainers cycle.
- Collaborate with DCYDE’s GCE working group and other GCE trainers into mainstreaming gender equality and discrimination sensitivity within the educational concept.
- Design and integrate methods that promote gender equality and address discrimination sensitivity in the implementation of digitally supported and dialogical GCE activities, with a specific focus to postcolonial methodologies in gender equality approach.
- Objective: Enhance multipliers’ (trainers’ and facilitators’) awareness and ability to address gender equality and discrimination sensitivity within GCE contexts. Ensure a coherent approach to gender equality and discrimination sensitivity throughout the project’s methodologies and resources.
- Timeline: 6 working days (48 hours, flexible scheduling), from late January to the end of March 2025, plus 2 one-day sessions (held online and/or in-person), from the end of March to June 2025.

Who Should Apply?
We are seeking experienced professionals in Global Citizenship Education (GCE), Digital Global Citizenship Education (D-GCE), online-based communication, hybrid and digital learning, or related fields. Applicants should:
- Have a strong background in GCE methodologies and competences, with a specific focus on experiential, transformative and hybrid learning experiences.
- Demonstrate proven experience in designing GCE resources, tools, and activities.
- Possess a strong background and experience in delivering educational programs, particularly GCE.
- Demonstrate expertise in facilitating training sessions, with international experience preferred, in hybrid, digital or analogue formats.
- Be familiar with relevant competences framework (e.g. GCE, 21st Century Skills, Lifelong Learning, etc.) at European and preferably international level.
- Show a commitment to promoting gender equality and inclusivity in education.
- Have an excellent command of English (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Provide relevant certificates proving their qualifications and suitability for the respective role.
- Possess experience in creating learning environments for both young people and adults.

Selection Criteria
Applicants will be assessed based on:
- Professional Experience (30%):
- Experience in Global Citizenship Education (GCE), hybrid/digital learning, or related fields.
- Proven ability to design and deliver educational programs (where relevant).
- Skills and Expertise (25%):
- Strong GCE facilitation skills, with international experience preferred.
- Proficiency in digital tools and hybrid learning methods.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Commitment to Inclusion (15%):
- Focus on gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Qualifications (10%):
- Relevant academic qualifications and certifications.
- Financial offer (20%):
